Inspirational Stories of Strength: Five Dynamic Individuals Touched by Breast Cancer, Part 1/3
This podcast is a celebration of 30 years of fulfilling the mission of Breast Cancer Network of Strength (formerly Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization). The call features five inspirational stories from five different speakers who had different breast cancer experiences. Our first speaker will be Donna who will address advanced breast cancer and its chronic effects. Kyle will address being young and single when first diagnosed and later the issues of a pregnancy and second breast cancer. Dorothy will discuss the African-American experience and her community’s perspective of the disease. Polly had a strong family history and made a personal decision for prophylactic surgery. Jim, last but absolutely not least, is a male breast cancer survivor with the unique experience of his wife also being diagnosed with breast cancer before his diagnosis.
Part 2 features the unique stories of Donna and Kyle.
